Lake Buena Vista Outlet – Bargain Shopping

Lake Buena Vista Outlet is not one of the main shopping destinations for tourists, but we would heartily recommend a visit. It’s not as fancy as the more upmarket premium outlet places on Vineland road and the top of International drive, but there are bargains here aplenty.

It can be found on SR535 between I4 and US192. The official address is 15657 S Apopka Vineland Road and opens from 10am to 9am Monday to Saturday and 10am to 7pm on Sunday. It’ s also one of the few places in Orlando with a road roundabout! There’ s plenty of parking and on arrival, pop into food court and pick up a coupon leaflet. It could come in useful.

This is an Outlet mall, so virtually all shops are selling reduced priced items.

Stores – predominantly clothing, but the outlet had something for everyone. Shoes, sunglasses, perfume etc etc. Two stores that really work for us, are Old Navy Outlet and VF Outlet. Old Navy always have some great bargains. We’ ve never found another Old Navy store with comparable levels of discount. For instance, during black Friday sales, this store had a lot of items with 70% discount. 2 other Old Navy stores we visited on the same day only had 50% and 60%. The VF store (opposite end of the outlet to Old Navy), is jammed pack with clothes. If you like wrangler jeans, this is the place for you.

There are 2 more large clothing stores, Nike and Tommy Hilfiger. We can’t say much for Nike, but Tommy Hilfiger does have some bargains, but don’t expect the very latest designs. One word of warning though. We’ve bought in this store several times and on each occasion, it’s taken an awfully long time to get thru the tills.

Depending on your tastes, the other clothes store’ s range from Aeropostale, Calvin Klein, Eddie Bauer, Dressbarn, Fossil, G by Guess, Gap, Levi’s, OshGosh (children), US Polo Assn, Under Armour, Izod / Van Heusen.

Shoe stores:- Converse, Crocs, Fit N Shoes, Rack Room, SAS, Timberland.

There is a food court serving normal US fare:- Hamburgers, hot dogs, Pizza, Lasange, salads and snacks.
There is also a coffee shop/Internet cafe on the opposite side to the food court.

This outlet is also part of a hotel and spa complex, but for the tourist, there is Frankie Farrell’s iIrishpub, which we can verify that their fish ‘n chips are worthy of a British chippy.

Go grab a bargain.
